Missing Socks and What Lucy Wore

I purchased an eight-pack package of pink patterned socks for Lucy. For some reason, the mate to every (every) sock is missing. How is that even possible?

These are the lonely socks.

I did find a matching pair of white socks for her. Of course she wouldn't wear them because "white is a boy color." She decided on wearing the mismatched shades of pink socks.
